Meet Sofia Dominguez, Co-Founder and Creative Director
Hi, I'm Sofía, but everyone calls me Sof. I'm the Co-Founder and Creative Director of Rotunda. My journey into fashion and design has been a lifelong passion, fueled by a deep love for art in all its forms—from fashion to architecture, and everything in between. Alongside my husband, Kevin, we started Rotunda in our Montevideo living room with a simple dream that has since grown into something truly special.
As the creative force behind Rotunda, I pour my heart and soul into every piece we design. For me, fashion is more than just clothing—it's a way to connect, to express who we are, and to empower others. Our designs are inspired by our daily lives, our family moments, and our love for the world around us. We aim to create collections that make every woman feel confident, unique, and beautiful.
Family is at the core of everything I do. My husband Kevin and our son Akiva are my greatest inspirations, and the values we cherish as a family are woven into the fabric of Rotunda. We believe in creating a brand that stands for more than just fashion—it’s about sustainability, quality, and a genuine connection with the women who wear our designs.

Meet Kevin Jakter, Co-Founder & CEO
Hi, I'm Kevin, I also go by "Kevo" to my friends, I'm the Co-Founder and CEO of Rotunda. Ten years ago, in Montevideo, Uruguay, my wife Sofía and I turned a shared dream into a reality. What started as a small project in our living room has grown into a leading brand in South America. Now, we're excited to bring our passion to the USA, offering high-quality, stylish, and comfortable products that empower and inspire.
Family is at the heart of everything we do. Sofía, my partner in life and creativity, drives our vision as Rotunda's Creative Director. Together with our son Akiva, we find inspiration in every moment, from simple family outings to weekends exploring the countryside.
Our journey is about more than just fashion; it's about creating a universe where every woman feels special and connected. We pour our hearts into every design, ensuring each piece reflects our commitment to quality, style, and sustainability. At Rotunda, we believe in the new luxury—where you not only look good but feel good, knowing you're part of a brand that cares about the planet and its people.

The Tribe
Our Story
Rotunda was created in 2013 in Montevideo, Uruguay, as a result of the combined efforts of two friends driven by their shared love for fashion, creativity and a desire to explore with local materials and diverse silhouettes. Bearing this in mind and heavily influenced by minimalist trends, they begun to shape the brand´s first collection. Willing to broaden their vision, they continued to develop this project and started searching for a name that would encompass the values of the brand, and by that time the word Rotunda started to resonate. In September 2013, they finally decided that their research was done - Rotunda: simple but steady, a name in Spanish, but still easily comprehensible in other languages, a concepts loaded with strength and irony at the same time.

Elena
I’m the strategic mastermind behind Rotunda USA's marketing and growth. With a degree in Communication and 8+ years of eCommerce and marketing experience across various sectors, I bring deep expertise and a passion into our team.
Florencia
As a Content Creator at Rotunda USA, I bring a unique blend of technical skill and artistic vision to the team. With a background in Industrial Design and a deep passion for fashion, my love for design and trends shapes our brand’s visual identity and storytelling, making me an invaluable asset.
Olivia
With a BA (Hons) in Fashion Design from Bath Spa University and 5 years at Rotunda, I dive into design, planning, sales analysis, and shipment coordination. My background includes sales with Hollister and a Graphic Design course at The New School, USA.
Kelly
As Customer Service Manager at Rotunda USA, I use my teaching background to excel in communication and problem-solving. My passion is ensuring every customer feels valued and heard, believing that personal connections build loyalty and memorable experiences.
Santiago
As the Operations Manager at Rotunda USA, I ensure our processes are efficient and well-organized. With over 3 years at Rotunda and a background in Public Accounting and retail, including Despegar.com, I focus on optimizing operations to drive our growth and success in the U.S.

SUSTAINABILITY
We want to rethink the way we do fashion.This implies questioning ourselves and being in constant transformation to be the change we want to see in the world. This quote from Eduardo Galeano (Uruguayan writer) keeps resonating in our minds: “in the end, we are what we do to change what we are”.For this reason, in 2020 we created a new area within Rotunda: the Sustainability Department, from which we are focusing on transforming ourselves to make a positive impact both socially and evironmentally.We began to measure and monitor the incidence of our actions through the B Impact Assessment.We also signed the SBTi commitment that involves reducing our scope 1 and 2 carbon emissions to 50% by 2030; the necessary percentage that climate science establishes to prevent the most damaging effects of climate change.
